Beach Brights tweeted about this fabulous “cottage” featured in the NY Times, and I was so inspired I retweeted and also shared it on facebook. Then, two different friends sent me the same exact link! Needless to say, this adult-sized playhouse is creating quite a buzz! You need to read the story and see all the pictures of this dreamy little Victorian studio.

Links Totally Worth Reading
June 26, 2010
After seeing the pictures, I said to myself, “This lady HAS to have a blog.” You know what? She does! She is Sandra Foster from My Shabby Streamside Studio. Go introduce yourself and say hello!
If you want to see more tiny houses, check out Tumbleweed Houses. This link was sent to me by my good friend Steve@Steven Moore Photography.
2. My little sis Christianne@Little Page Turners introduced me to Katherine Marie Photography. Not only is she an amazing photographer, but she is also the most amazingly creative mom I have ever seen! When I grow up, I want to be a mom just like her! Go visit and be prepared to stay awhile.
3. Budget Bytes
At the end of this month my family will be out of a job, out of benefits, out of income, so I obviously NEED to start living differently! This savvy lady shows us how to create delicious meals on a dime.
Perhaps you’ve already seen her work but looking at her galleries is so inspiring!
This is one of my new favorite blogs. I can’t read a word of it but this lady has a great knack for finding inspiration! The pics do all the talking.
Have a great weekend peeps!

The playhouse is amazing, I'd not seen it, off to read more. Thanks! Janell

Cool links! I just stumbled upon the cottage the other day and I kept having a feeling there were lots of spiders in it. LOL!

Beth,
What a beautiful house. I love all the inspirational links you share!! Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, I've been a little MIA while my husbands been gone. We had to move to a gorgeous new home because we live on the Marine Corps base. The old housing was kinda falling apart with lots of mold & other issues. So they're renovating the whole base. There's pros & cons – but we're adjusting well. Thanks for having such an amazing blog. I always look forward to your posts!

I've actually seen one of those tiny houses before! One was at my inlaws camp last summer. It was the cutest thing and I instantly wanted one!
I have to tell you that today I've lacked a lot of inspiration to do much of anything. Knowing that I have lots I want to do – but just not feeling inspired to do much. Well, after reading this post I got a jolt of inspiration. I'm on that Budget Bytes site right now looking for yummy meals for my family. Thanks for inspiring me!
i saw this woman's cottage on sunday in the paper and was AMAZED! the saddest thing is that it's uninhabitable in the wintertime because it is the perfect year-round "playhouse". i can't believe she was able to make so much out of a tiny space . . .
Beautiful little cottage.
In regards to your current state (out of job, income, etc) may I be so bold to tell you "this too shall pass", We lost our home in November, with a baby. And had to move in to my sister's half unfinished basement…all 4 of us (and the cat too)…in one room. We are currently living in an apartment, and believe me, you will be ok. God will guide you.
